Inside Seven Canyons

Red rock on every side, and the trailhead around the corner

The Mesa sits inside Seven Canyons, a gated golf community tucked into the red rock west of Sedona. Most Devil's Bridge hikers circle for parking; from here the Chuckwagon trailhead lot is a 5-minute, 1.4-mile drive, and you can walk to the Devil's Bridge trailhead from the front door.

Come back to a heated swim spa and hot tub facing the canyon, a kitchen built for group dinners, and a lower-level game room with a wet bar. Guests also get access to the Seven Canyons club pool, restaurant and a Tom Weiskopf-designed golf course.

Floor-to-ceiling red rock

Accordion-fold glass doors run along the main level. Fold them open and the living room, dining table and patio become one long room facing the canyon. Mornings bring hot air balloons over the ridgeline; nights bring a sky full of stars with no city glow.

  • Great room opens fully to the covered patio
  • Multiple patio levels with lounge seating and outdoor dining
  • Fire features for cool desert evenings

Swim spa and hot tub, facing the canyon

The heated swim spa is long enough for real laps, and the hot tub beside it is sized for the whole group. Both face the red rock, so a post-hike soak doubles as sunset viewing.

  • Heated swim spa under a covered stone patio
  • Large hot tub on the open deck
  • Club pool at the Seven Canyons clubhouse, heated year-round

Seven Canyons Golf Club

A private course that day visitors can't book

Seven Canyons is a gated, members-only club, and staying at The Mesa gets you in. We arrange tee times for you on the Tom Weiskopf-designed course, which threads through red rock canyon walls. Non-golfers head to the clubhouse pool, fitness center and restaurant.

  • Tee times booked through your hosts
  • Clubhouse, restaurant, fitness center and EV charger
  • Greens fees and some club amenities carry a charge

An Unforgettable Stay with Breathtaking Views! The amenities were amazing, and one of our favorite parts of the stay was definitely the swim spa overlooking the mountains. It was such a relaxing way to unwind, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and take in the incredible mountain scenery. Our hostess was just as wonderful as the property! She was friendly, thoughtful, and always quick to respond, making us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay. Megan recommended catching the sunrise and seeing all the hot air balloons come up over the mountains. Core memory made for sure! It’s not often you find a place that offers the perfect combination of luxury, privacy, relaxation, and natural beauty, but this one truly has it all. We made some wonderful memories here, and it was honestly hard to leave! We would return in a heartbeat and can’t recommend this beautiful property enough. Thank you for such a special and unforgettable experience!

The house is well laid out and very comfortable. There were only four of us, but I could see this place working well for a family or three couples, as there are three bathrooms. There are luxury details in every room. The views are absolutely amazing, and there is always a nice breeze at this location. It is about a 15 minute ride from town, but grocery delivery was no problem. We did not use the swim spa, but took advantage of the hot tub a few mornings. It was clean and very nice. We did some cooking and found the kitchen to be very well stocked. Megan was great to work with. She answered all questions and helped us book tee times at Seven Canyons. From what we heard from locals, this is the only rental home in the neighborhood. We felt fortunate to be able to "live here" for a few days and take advantage of the course and surrounding area. It's gorgeous!

Megan was a wonderful host and her home was beautiful! I could sit on the balcony all day and just take in the beauty of our surroundings, but there was too much to do nearby to be able to do that. The fully stocked kitchen allowed us to make gourmet meals. Megan went above and beyond for us including helping me to get a round of golf booked at the private course and arranging a cake to be made for my wife’s birthday. And the kids were entertained for hours with the games, swim spa, jacuzzi spa, tv’s and arcade games in the home. 100% recommend and I hope to come back soon.

We were 3 couples, long time friends of more than 35 years enjoying a reunion. The views were so beautiful out the back we never wanted to eat out! We watched the sunset on the rocks in the evening. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We loved watching the sunset from the hot tub sipping on a cocktail! Our hostess was very responsive to all of our questions and needs. Thank you Megan!

This place was even more beautiful in person, the photos truly don’t do it justice! The views are absolutely unforgettable, I lost count of how many shooting stars we saw from the balcony. The host was very responsive and truly thought of everything. The home was incredibly accommodating with all the little extras you could need. Those thoughtful touches made the stay feel so welcoming and like a home away from home. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely book this place again!

Megan was one of the best Airbnb hosts we’ve had! Extremely responsive, communicative and thoughtful. The place was wonderful and exactly as described. With a family of 5 it was more than perfect - added bonus when your college aged kids even say twice what a great find it was. View was amazing and my older boys loved being able to play golf at such an amazing golf course. Kitchen and grill were perfect and had all the amenities to cook at the house a couple times. Would definitely stay again! It was nice to be in a gated community- felt extremely safe and just a short trip to downtown Sedona as well as some great hikes.

This was a great property in a pristine location. The views were outstanding. The property had all the things you would need for an incredible getaway. After soak in the hot tub, we enjoyed some time on the arcade games downstairs. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were set up perfectly. The host was very easy to communicate with and a pleasure to rent from. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely LOVED staying here. The space was beautiful and clean. The view from the balcony was stunning, could sit out there for hours. Having access the the golf course was awesome, one of the most beautiful courses I've ever played at. Megan was kind, responsive, helpful. I'd highly recommend this space and I hope to get back again!

We booked this incredible home for my husband’s Birthday. To say it was amazing doesn’t quite describe how beautiful this home is & views out of this world. Megan is amazing, she was in constant communication when I had questions. So friendly & proactive. She had cake & a card for my husband when we arrived, that was special. We had 4 days & nights of peace & zen. This home is one that you will keep coming back to. I can’t even imagine renting anywhere else, the Views, stunning interior where you want for nothing. It has everything & it’s high end. Beautiful fireplace as it was chilly this trip, so sitting w/fireplace and reading was what we needed. We would HIGHLY recommend this home, pics don’t do it justice. It does not disappoint & having Megan as your host is perfection. Thank you so much for making Cliffs Birthday so special. Can’t wait to come back. ‼️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Megan’s home! The views are unmatched! The house is so well stocked with toiletries, sunscreen, and all the little things you might need to be comfortable. We loved the swim spa and enjoyed using the clubhouse pool. It was the perfect place to spend our remaining days in Arizona. And it’s a close proximity to all the wonderful things Sedona has to offer. Megan is very responsive and we would absolutely stay again.

An absolutely perfect property. Our family of four didn’t need three bedrooms, but we really wanted to stay in the area and were so happy. Wonderfully comfortable, absolutely beautiful and perfectly stocked. We were already talking about when we could come back before we even left. Loved the hot tub and spa/pool, proximity to mountain biking trails, downstairs activities, updated kitchen perfect for those who want to cook. We felt like we could go have a fun day of adventuring with a perfect place to land. Also went to dinner at the club restaurant and were so well taken care of. Thank you for a perfect trip. Longer next time…

This is the best vacation home we have ever rented! The home’s beauty, amenities and cleanliness blew our minds. I can’t express enough how wonderful and accommodating the owners are. If we get back to Sedona we’ll be renting the same home again.
